Muscular System

The Muscular System is a complex network of muscles that enables movement, maintains posture, and supports essential body functions. It consists of three types of muscles: skeletal muscles, which control voluntary movements; smooth muscles, which regulate the function of internal organs; and cardiac muscle, which powers the heart. Working closely with the skeletal and nervous systems, the muscular system helps the body perform everyday activities, generate heat, and maintain balance and stability. Understanding the muscular system is essential for learning human anatomy, improving physical performance, preventing injuries, and supporting overall health.
